The quality of food may be compromised during the delivery process. Items that are supposed to be hot may arrive cold, and certain dishes may not travel well

On my mission to understand certain personalities, I carried out multiple surveys, research initiatives, and individual sessions to fathom the challenges individuals face related to food vending, restaurants, and food distribution in the respective area of Abuja, Nigeria. A number of individuals were persuaded there was no possible improvement to the prevailing condition of food delivery, while some believed that substantial enhancements could be made across many areas, and others were undecided about the matters. However, incorporating all these viewpoints, I personally inferred that a lot has the potential for refinement.

The subsequent items, as indicated by respondents I've recorded, will be essential in moving the initiative forward and enhancing the user's interaction.

Through rigorous research, i was able to speak to certain individuals in the situated area about their opinions on how food vending apps could be better

My Role

I found the problem to be a lack of an all-in-one app to make these services come alive.

Taking all these into consideration i drafted up wireframes, Low-fi and Hi-fi designs to address the problems.

After creating the designs, the next was to bring the design to life for better interaction and usability.

When all was done, i re-iterated the design along with the prototype to check for bugs and inconsistencies

In the situated Area of Abuja, Nigeria Many Individuals and Restaurants struggle with the absence of an All-in-one app that consists of Order, Digital Menu, and a delivery service.

the concept of yumster aims to provide an all in one platform to carry out these duties.

In the span of my investigations, insights, compassion, drafting, structuring, producing, revisions, and prototyping, I've come to learn that a multitude of users possess varying preferences, enjoyments, aversions, and a variety of indifference towards many things. These are a few of the significant learnings I've gathered over the duration of this endeavor.

Possible next steps would involve taking actionable measures to refine the design, address identified challenges, and continuously improve the user experience.

Usability Testings

The time allocated to the project did not allow for a prototype to be tested. The team agreed to carry out usability tests and gather feedback after development of the product. The development stage of the product is close to completion.
